how it started
What began as me being the only efficient InDesign user - quickly updating menus ahead of shifts - soon became a position of consistent work maintaining menu formatting (after working to update them visually and hierarchically), creating signage, posters, new menus, specials menus, streamlining design system(s), and creating custom elements for use across it all.

Menus: a Constant
With frequent turnover and replacements of offerings and ingredients as Chaatable grew to learn the city and its food became to be understood by the city (since it was new to a supermajority of residents), the menu was tweaked and reprinted often.
I introduced a more streamlined design system and hierarchy to support readability in a very visually busy and description heavy, double-sided menu.
